Meatpacking District: NYC: Stephanie & Evan's Engagement Session
When Stephanie met Evan, it was a day like any other day. She attended a BBQ - one of the many parties hosted by the George Washington University fraternities and sororities that lived on same block. Stephanie lived on the block, too, with her sorority sisters and several of them joined her at the party. Evan happened to be there too, with his frat buddies. It was there, at that unassuming college party, that Stephanie and Evan had a conversation that would spark the beginning of their relationship. And, suddenly, that day went from being like any other day to what would forever be known as the day it all began.
Stephanie and Evan dated for the rest of college, after graduation as they began their careers and moved to NYC. After six years together, Evan was more than ready to propose to Stephanie but he was determined that she wouldn’t see it coming. So he made sure that the day he proposed would, too, be a day like any other day.
He asked Stephanie to dinner which didn’t phase her much, save for the fact that they were trying to save money for the trip they were leaving on in a few days. Dinner went off without a hitch and on the way home, Evan suggested they walk on the High Line. It was a particularly chilly evening in NYC, something that worked to Evan’s benefit since his puffy coat disguised the ring box he had been walking around with all night.
There they were walking home from dinner, Stephanie with a bag of leftovers in her hand, when Evan suddenly took out the ring and asked Stephanie to be his wife. And, suddenly, that day went from being like any other day to the day that she said yes.
