Quogue, NY: Claire & Tom's Engagement Session

We recommend engagement sessions to all of our couples for a host of reasons; most importantly because it gives you the chance to incorporate things into photos that will not be a part of your wedding day. In Claire and Tom’s case, those things were a meaningful location and Pip, their sweet dog. The location was a beach home that had been in Tom’s family for decades - built by his grandparents and now shared by the family. It’s been the destination for many fond memories and seemed like the perfect place to capture this time in Claire and Tom’s lives. Pip, an energetic Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, is not only incredibly photogenic but she also is adorably devoted to her owners.

Claire and Tom will be getting married this May in an equally beautiful, but much less coastal, location at the Blue Hill at Stone Barns. Based on how much fun we had with them (and then Tom’s family for a portrait session a few months later) we can not wait for their wedding. That’s especially because, as you’ll see below, this beautiful couple is an absolute joy to photograph.
